The National Paralympic Committee (NPC) of South Sudan was founded in April 2018 and subsequently registered in 2019, as a member sport body by the National Commission of the Ministry of Youths and Sports of the Republic of South Sudan under the Youths and sports Act 2003 (Art21-A).
The NPC of South Sudan, is the recognized body in the country that represents the Paralympic Movement, organizing athletes for the Paralympic Games and promoting parasport, operating under the global International Paralympic Committee (IPC). The committee develop and manage sports for people with disabilities, from grassroots to elite levels, ensuring national participation in international events like the Summer and Winter Paralympics.
